| The Anode Prep receives a group of anodes and individually presses the body and the ears, machines the ears, then weighs and rejects any off specification anode. The prepared anodes are then loaded onto the pick-up station with a 4" spacing. The IAS Anode Prep is designed to reduce maintenance costs by incorporating standard components with simple mechanical motions. In some instances we have reduced maintenance costs per prep to US $50,000/YR.
